About Us and How It Started
This is my real story. This website was designed and built by me, and everything written here is true and based on real experiences. The entire business and website were created from real events, real work, and real people I’ve helped along the way.
I immigrated to Canada in 2023. After arriving with no connections and no job, on my 10th day in Canada I bought a pickup truck (my first pickup Truck).
And that same day I got my first small moving job transporting a sofa and a few household items.
At that time I didn’t have stable work, so it started as a side hustle. Later, even while working full-time, I was still doing moving and hauling jobs 3–4 days a week. Over time, this experience grew into a reliable local service built on hard work, consistency, and helping people across Calgary.
Later on, things slowed down for a while because my full-time job was taking up most of my time. After about a year-long break, I received another job — clearing out an entire basement full of junk left behind by irresponsible tenants.
For me, it wasn’t a problem at all, so I took the job without hesitation. Since then, I’ve handled all kinds of cleanup, moving, hauling, and heavy labor projects across the city.
That’s how Junk Removal & Moving was born. To be honest, the name changed several times along the way as new ideas, improvements, and experience helped shape the business into what it is today.
